How To Do Market Research For Marketing Your Invention

How can I do market research?

I have found the most successful way of market research is going to google and typing in key words and finding out what people are talking about in the industry good and bad. Then seeing if your product fits in that bad catagory or fits in that good catagory. Another way is going into Amazon and buying books related to the type of product your making. You can actually read a few books. What I did before I started designing Zero Ways packing and move solutions I bought every book that related to packing and moving. I read every book twice and then I went and talked to movers and I talked to people moving. I talked to people making cardboard boxes. I talked to everybody related to that space. I took down notes and thoroughly reviewed them and came up with there's gotta be a better solution. So in my own personal project I came up with an idea of talk to everybody in moving and related to moving and come up with a better idea.
