One of the components of hospice care is volunteers. They always need volunteers, such as people who want to donate their time to be with families and patients who are dealing with a life-challenging illness. But, also people who are happy to do anything from stuffing envelopes to getting ready for big fundraisers. Just know that there are a lot of needs there, and if you'd like to donate your time please call your local hospice and tell them you'd like to volunteer.
