How do I end the conversation after I ask for a date?

Much in the same way that you sort of want to wrap up the conversation after you get the girl's phone number when you get it in the bar or wherever you get it, you really want to try to wrap up your phone conversation pretty quickly after you make plans on a date. You never want to be the guy who's on the phone and has the girl say, “Oh, I have to go, blah blah blah”. You want to be the one in control, so you have to be able to say, “Hey, I am really excited about our date. I've got to run now. I look forward to seeing you soon.”
