How To Enforce Your Patent

How do I enforce my patent?

If you want to enforce your patent against someone, you can sue them in the courts for patent infringement. You can show that whatever product is that they're making, importing, or selling falls within the scope of your patent, and that they should stop. You can ask for damages. You can ask for an injunction to stop them doing it. However, you should also consider that there are other ways to stop people because litigation can be expensive. You may want to talk to them about licensing your product. You may want to go to some kind of mediation or arbitration to decide on a way for you to be recompensed for the use of your invention. Litigation isn't always the answer.
