How To Find College Internships
How do I find college internships?
Information on internship programs is usually available in a couple of places, at least at most colleges and universities. One place that they're often found is in academic departments. Many times a faculty member will encourage students or even require them to take an internship so that they can complete their degree requirements. Other students who do not have an internship as part of the core of their major requirement may still choose to pursue one or two internships during their four years because they want to gain practical experience for a degree program that may not be that practical. Often times perhaps an English major will choose that they want to do an internship in a magazine or at a newspaper so that they can get some experience writing in a print media format. It's important to take more than one internship if you can during your four years because it certainly broadens your experience and makes you much more attractive to employers.
