If your mortgage application has been rejected and you don't know why, then you should get in touch with the person to whom you made the mortgage application fee. If it's a bank or building society, get in touch with them. Or if you went through a mortgage broker it is worth asking the mortgage broker first. The bank or building society should explain to you or the mortgage broker on your behalf exactly why your mortgage application was turned down.
