As they walk into your shop or your restaurant, or your beauty parlour, clinic or whatever it is, just watch them. Now if somebody come directly to you, you'll know what they'll know what they want, and you can deal with them immediately. But other people like to browser, like to get they're bearing, like to look around and if they are coming into a restaurant just let them and watch they're body language. And if you see them acting suspiciously, well watch them even more and make quite sure you and your staff know exactly what to do if people are going to steal from you.
