How can I get my child interested in math?

To help lay the groundwork for a child to become really interested in math there are many things that a parent can do. A parent can help a child begin to see numbers in the world by counting the different everyday objects that are around them. Board games or even home-made games are a perefect opportunity to help students develop their mathematical skills and at the same time, become actively interested in math. You can play games such as Bingo, where children can learn to recognize or say different numbers that they come into contact with. Identifying paterns in your home or taking out all of the forks and spoons and making a pattern with those are some of the things that you can do to really work on the math concepts that students will learn and work on in school.
