How can I help parents with few resources encourage their children's education?

Most parents desire to see their children succeed and excel in school. It is important as teachers we give them the resources that they need in order do that. One of the things that we can do to facilitate that is to help provide resources for the home. We can show parents how to make games, how to make materials and how to use everyday common household objects for learning and enriching their child's education.
