How should I hold my baby during bottle feeding?
In order to hold a baby during bottle feeding, you want to do your best to have it be almost exactly like a breast feeding baby would have been, except your using a bottle. You would take your baby and cuddle it very close, in exactly the same position you would use if you were breast feeding. Then, you take the bottle and in the direction or the line of which the breast would be, you allow the baby to go ahead and latch. There are lots of different ways to hold the baby when bottle feeding, just as there are when breast feeding. Another affective one if you need your other arm free is to tuck your baby underneath your arm, again, holding it as though your going to breast feed but allowing the bottle to come along the line of the breast.
