How To Improve Your Ability To Remember A Long Speech
How can I improve my ability to remember a long speech?
There are two ways to remember the cues in your speech. One is the Loci Method, or what some people call the Room Method. You find a location that you're familiar with and then you associate those cues in different areas of the location. Then when you think of the location, the cues come back. The other method to remember the cues in your speech is called the Linking Thought Method. You extract the main element from the speech which will actually trigger that thought to mind. Then you extract another element from the speech, a third element, and a fourth element and you can connect those elements together, linking one element to the other in a story form.
