How do I keep my indoor cat happy?

There are many ways you can keep your indoor cat happy and make her feel like she is the queen of this awesome feline castle. The ways you can do it - I call it "environmental enrichment." By that I mean make sure you have a lot of perches for that cat to hang out on. That calls for cat trees and window ledges you can attach that gives them a place to soak in the sun. You need to give little toys to your cats. Throw a toy mouse down the hallway or even a paper wad; play games with your cats - have a bird feeder outside! Cats like to be nosy, like to check things out, let them see the latest canary that flew by or something like that. You need to make sure that they have their basic needs met. You know, their food bowls, their water bowls. But, just like dogs, they actually make treat balls for cats, so they actually have to hunt and find their food by pawing this treat ball. So, there are many things you can do to enrich your environment for your cat.
