How much formula should I give my baby per feeding?
How much formula a baby takes per feeding is really dependent on the size of its stomach. In the newborn period babies have very small stomachs so it would be unusual for a newborn baby to take more than one ounce of formula. The best thing to do is to give your baby about two ounces of formula per feeding. If it desires more you can stop and prepare that will also give you time to burp your baby and switch over.
