How do I know if I'm asking too much for my house?

You know you're asking too much for your house, when, after the first 30 days you'll have a number of showings but at the end of the day no offers. At that point, typically 30-60 days, a price reduction needs to take place. After that typically then the offers come in. Prior buyers who saw it at the higher price will then recognize the price reduction and act on it.
