Well, baseball is a numbers game so there is no shortage of numbers. That's the best way to just look up who's available in your league and see who's hot in the last month or so. Maybe the last two months, the last couple of weeks. Who's getting playing time, that is an under rated aspect. Basically, who's getting to bat? You can usually look on your league site to see who's available and sort it in different ways. And then you just want to keep on track on the news using whatever news stories you want to use. ESPN, FOX, Roto World- anything like that. Just to make sure you know who's injured and who's not. When I'm looking for stats to help me though, I look once again for strike outs, for pitchers, then I tend to look at something like slugging percentage or RBI for hitters
