The best way to lay out the party is make sure you're giving the guests enough room to mingle and mix. Don't have it so that every chair is backed up to one another and stops the guests from getting up and down and being able to enjoy themselves. Remember, when guests get up and down, energy starts happening in the room. The more energy you have in the room, the better the party. Make it easy for them to get to the dance floor. Remember to put your band center to the dance floor so that that glaring speakers aren't blowing out people's ear drums. All of this is important.
