How should I live my life?

We live our life with a sense of being loved by self, and recognize that I am loved. That is the most important thing, that I am loved means that I can stop something and try and overcome all kinds of feelings of insecurities in myself by trying to put others down or make myself better than others. If I am loved, I accept everything about me, all that is good and all that is difficult. It's about saying in my meetings with others, "How do I help them to love themselves?" And so I'm trying to put into practice what Christ said to us. Love God. To love God is to love yourself because God created me. For there is nothing unloving in me. It's to be able to accept myself and then to love others -awakening in them a sense of who they are, the good of them. That's in a sense what we're called to live, we struggle with it because we are human beings. There are kinds of experiences in life that damage it, hide it, that makes us hide from ourselves. Life is about retouching that place - learning that flower, the gentleness of the flower, the fragility of it, that we hold in our hands.
