How can I make a floral arrangement last longer?

You want to make your arrangement and get the maximum potential out of your flowers. I have people that will take the flowers out and cut them with scissors or a knife, but it has to be at an angle; replace the water, put them in the fridge at night, and then pull them out the next day. That is optimum, but that is insane. So, the best thing to do is really just replace the water every day, which seems like a lot of work for some people. That makes a huge difference to floral arrangements, if you can; sometimes the arrangement is all taped up or it's in ways where you cant really pull it out, but if you can, re-cut the flowers and the stems.
