How do I make sure that my trade mark isn't already registered?

If you want to know if your trademark is already registered, you can carry out a search. There are searches available on the UK Intellectual Property office website that you can use, and you can put in your trademark and see if it has already been registered. But it's better to have a professional search done. The reason is, it will also find similar marks as well as exactly the same mark.
