If you've made representations and you want to see what response the authority has made, one way would be to look at the planning office's report. When they summarize what they think the issues would be, there's usually a section in there which says "representations made." It may be that your representations together with others have been assimilated into the report before recommendation is made. You can see that on the council's website as the application makes progress, and before a decision is reached.
