How can my family maximize a day at a Disney theme park?
If you are staying on site or at a property that has a deal, you can go early in the morning, so that you get there before the big crowds go. That really helps maximize the day. Not trying to do so much during a day, also, believe it or not, will maximize the day - because you don't feel stressed. I love Disney, but I see people walking around Disney with these lists. We have to do this, we have do that. We never did that. We always knew what we wanted to do. We had our top 10 that I talked about before. And we went, we always did our top 10 - and we would then have time to snooze. We were not a morning family, so we would usually have a room service breakfast that we would all share while we got dressed, and talk about the day and how we were going to do things. We would then have an early lunch before the crowds got there. At 12:30, there were lines nowhere. We were able to go on a lot of things when everybody is starting to get hungry and starting to feed their children. So that is another way to maximize it. Doing Fast Pass. If you have a group, they do have a policy now where they will take you around and help you maximize your day. It is expensive, and is not a budget persons thing to do. But if time is really of the essence to you, call and ask about the VIP Passes.
