How To Make Your Loved One More Comfortable Before Death

How can I make my loved one more comfortable before death?

During your loved ones final hours when you see those physical changes happening, you can try to meet some of their physical needs, maybe put a little moisturizer on their skin, some Vaseline or moisturizing sticks that can help with their lips. There's a few physical things you can do to make them more comfortable before death. Reposition them if there's a position that they'll be more comfortable in. You can also do a lot emotionally for your loved one just by being there with them. Your presence is really what matters the most, to know that they can feel your love. The love in the room is just as important as any medication hospice gives, and makes them as comfortable.
