How can my VCR, DVD player and DVR work together?
You can use your VCR in conjunction with other recordable media like a recordable DVD player or a DVR. Each one gives you something slightly different. With the VCR you can record a tape, take it away and archive it and store it for future use. With a DVR you're recording on a hard disk, and at some point you're going to run out of space on that hard disk, and you're going to have to either overwrite it or move it off the hard disk onto some other type of storage. Most of the time that's a recordable DVD player.
