How do I go about making my will?
There's many ways of making a will. You can go and see a solicitor and a solicitor will help you make the will for you. There are will writers who are advertised. I believe they come to your house. They do your will for you. I don't know what their fees are. You can also do a will yourself. You can go to smiths highstreet stationers and you can obtain preprinted will forms which you then complete following the instructions, I have seen quite a few of these will forms, and I must admit looking at them as a lawyer particulary the signing parts, but I always find the signing parts on the pre-written will instructions rather difficult to understand for a lay person; obviously as to my recommendation to the man in the street is that they should go and see a solicitor to have their will prepared for them.
