How can I narrow my pool of prospective roommate candidates?

Let's say that you have five people that you're really interested in, and you've sat down and you've asked them a bunch of questions. I have twenty five in my book. You will hit a lot of questions that sometimes they don't want to answer. If they don't want to answer them, I totally eliminate them. There are no questions that are too personal. This person is going to be living in your house. They're going to be sharing your house, and sharing your space. You need to know as much about them as possible. You should have more than one interview.
