The bottom line thing about a fear is that usually you're avoiding the thing that you're afraid of, so the best way to overcome any fear is to do the thing that you're afraid of and to do it with a hundred percent effort, to not do it half-heartedly and kind of hold back. You've got to really go for it a hundred percent and to do it over and over again. It's not enough just to confront your fear one time, you need to confront your fear many times and then you start to get more comfortable and feel less afraid.
