What is acrophobia and how do I overcome it?

Acrophobia is the fear of heights. Being up somewhere tall — being on top of a mountain — in a tall building — riding in a glass elevator — going skiing on a (chair) lift — those are all things that people, who are afraid of heights are scared of. So, the thing to do is to actually give yourself some experience getting into high places. You might start off, with going up to just the third floor of a building, and working your way up to the top floor. And eventually you'll get more comfortable being in high places.
