How can I prepare for my first job interview after college?
Interviews out of college are very, very important to prepare for, and I always tell students that it's very important to visit your career center as early as possible. Students should visit the career center many times in their first year as a college student. It may be a little crazy to think about working just as you're getting used to a brand new college environment, but students who have their eye on being a successful employee with a top corporation, firm or agency will have to visit their career center often. They will have prepared a resume and gone through mock interviews, and are ready to answer any questions that the employer may have about the skills and abilities that they have acquired while they were a college student.
