How can I protect myself when trying to contact the dead?

I tell people everyday you should protect yourself. We take care of our physical body. We shower or bath. What about our spirit body? What about that essence inside us. And people's thoughts are on us. When people think of you, thoughts are real things. So when people think of you boom it goes right to you. It's like an arrow. It goes right to you. Some people carry around a lot of people's stuff: husband's stuff, friend's stuff, boss' stuff. It's like there. Well in the morning when I get ready and take a shower, I will in the shower visualize a beautiful golden light going through my body taking away all that stuff and down the drain and cleanse myself and then protect myself in white light. That's what I do. I think everyone should be aware of that. I would be more afraid of that.
