And so you'd have the oral conversation, but you'd also have the written agreement. So you'd have an exhibit. That exhibit might be even required in a breach of contract action. You might have witnesses. Somebody who was with you, who can verify and testify from personal knowledge to the events that took place. So those are the typical methods of proving one's case.
