How can I prove who I am?

The most effective ways to prove who you are is, first off, by at least having photo copied documents of your birth certificate, of your driver's license, of your passport, of your social security card. Also, having utility bills that only you could possible receive at your address, having mortgage statements. Generally, a picture in a high school yearbook is something that will verify who you are. When you go to the Registry of Motor Vehicles they're always going to ask you for a number of different documents that only generally you should have access to, and they use that to verify who you are. And in situations revolving around identity theft law enforcement will generally ask you for the same documentation.
