As a woman, how do I show I'm in charge?

That's really about gaining respect, and gaining respect is about exuding confidence, being absolutely decisive in what you do- and not being afraid. That doesn't mean do everything yourself and eliminate your team and not take their advice. You have a team. You have a group of intelligent, rational thinking people, who maybe offer a perspective that you haven't considered. Don't be so egotistical that you conduct yourself in such a way as to alienate your team. Be willing to take feedback. Be willing to take input. Listen to everything and then make a rational, well thought out decision. By doing that and by being open to your team's contributions, you gain their confidence. It shows them that you are considerate and that you are really genuinely interested in what they have to offer. They feel appreciated and by making them feel appreciated, they want to work with you and they respect you as a result. It's sort of an incidental benefit.
