Starting a carpool means really talking to your neighbors and finding out what their schedule is like, and seeing if you can organize a team of parents and then divide up the transport responsibilities. The friendlier, the more gregarious you are, the more you know your neighborhood, the easier it would be to do that. If you don't know your neighborhood, posting signs at the local supermarket, for example; if you're willing to give your phone number so that parents can contact you; waiting in the parking lot of the school and giving out flyers inviting parents to give you a call if they're interested are some strategies to form a carpool.
