How can I stay in touch with my high school friends who are attending other colleges?

Staying in touch with high school friends has never been easier. I mean, I mentioned the whole fifth wall of technology and the fifth wall being cell phones, internet, instant messaging, all those things that keep you connected. So staying in touch really isn't too hard. I think there's over connectivity where you end up relying on those comfortable relationships and where you end up not really engaging in life in college. I'd say a great tip for this is when you're going away to school, and if you're going lets say in August, and your friend is going in September, tell your friend, "Hey, I won't be able to talk as much because I'm going to be at school and I hope that you're cool with that". And just by talking about that, then it doesn't make it such a difficult thing, it's not like you're rejecting that friendship. I would say you'll stay in touch and sometimes it will be more in the beginning, and then it will linger, or it will become longer periods of time. But the thing that's cool about high school friends is it's like you can go months without talking and you could see each other and it'll be like "Yeah", and you've got the handshake or whatever it is that you do, and it's like yesterday that you were together. So, I mean trust that it will be there.
