How can I stay on top of course work and homework in college?
Class work and homework are a part of college life and so is socializing, so it's very important to be able to balance all of those. Going to class is absolutely important and it's exceptionally important for students who are in their first couple of years of education in a college or a university. It's very important to get acclimated to the process of going to class, attending lectures, taking notes and then being able to know what to study for homework so that you would be better prepared for tests and exams. Balancing class work and homework and doing both of those is a lot more challenging when you are meet new friends, when you are perhaps in a new city and you have more freedom that you once did. It's often a good idea to be able to make studying homework a good time by socializing as you do your homework. Doing group study can often be helpful, as can taking breaks and being able to do some studying and then take a break and do a run. You should be able to have some fun somewhere and then come back to studying. Also, being able to contribute to a study group is actually very helpful. It keeps you current with your friends and also helps you to study and be prepared for all those important exams and classroom discussions.
