How can I stop myself storing pent-up anger?
One of the most effective ways of not storing pent-up anger is to begin to realize that you might yourself have anxiety about either expressing anger or having anger expressed to you. And it's very critical that you find a way of actually dealing with your own fear and anxiety of being rejected and abandoned. Most people who store pent-up anger tend to have a huge fear about being rejected and part of the learning process is to begin to communicate their feelings. I'm not suggesting in an inappropriate way but to communicate as they feel whatever anger they feel is to actually communicate the feeling which is essentially "I am angry with you about such and such and such" rather than storing and, of course, becoming very ill and, of course, very depressed.
