In talking with your partner about the death of a child it's very important that you be open and honest about your grief, but also realize everyone grieves differently. One partner may be quieter about it and not want to talk about it that much but is still grieving enormously. The other partner may want to talk about it all the time. This is very normal. And sometimes you need different resources. That's why bereavement groups can be very important for each parent individually to be able to talk about their own grief in their own way.
