How can I tell if a florist is good or not?

If you are calling a good florist, they are going to want to talk to you about each arrangement. They're going to want to know what your expectations are, and I would recommend trying out a florist and seeing what happens with those expectations, if your expectations are met. Sometimes people have unrealistic expectations. With dahlias, they last three days, and then that's it. You're just paying for that beautiful moment. In my opinion, you shouldn't expect too much in length. You should expect more in style, fragrance, and beauty. A flower is special because it lasts for a moment.
