How To Tell If A Wine Is Young Or Old

Is there a way to easily tell if a wine is young or old?

There are lots of tricks that you can do. You can take a red wine, pour it in the glass, shake the bejesus out of it, and when the foam comes up, if the foam is white it means the wine is older than 10 years. If the foam has pigmentation it is less than 10 years. You can be blind drunk and do this and be able to say, "Oh, this wine is older than 10 years."
