You will know if your child is gifted because of the feedback you get from his school as well as from your interaction with and observation of your child. After you see those kinds of things that make you think your child may be gifted you'll want to connect with either a psychologist (if you know one) to get your child tested to see if they are gifted, or talk to your school counsellors or your paediatrician for that connection.
