Young children don't know if their eyes are misaligned because as far as they're concerned that's normal. So it's really up to the parents to figure it out. Parents will see it. They'll see an eye wander in or wander out. If you're suspicious as a parent, trust your gut. Take it to the eye doctor. Tell them you know it doesn't look right because parents are usually the first people to see it and they are our first line of defense to catch these kids and save their vision.
