How can I tell what would be a good bottled beer?

If you are looking at a bottled beer, it's always a good idea to have a good look at the label. Sometimes you find beers that have just got the most crossed statement on them, something like a proof on the finest ingredients. It doesn't tell you anything about the beer. You are more likely to find a good beer if the label has information about how the beer is brewed, the ingredients that are used and why the brewer created it. Look for this information.
