Grown up children may have a good idea that all is not well in a marriage. The most important thing when telling them about a divorce is to be honest with them and not to badmouth one another. Try to tell them together, if at all possible. Explain to grown up children the reasons why you are divorcing and reassure them that you will always be there for them even though you are not living together as a family anymore.
