How do you treat head lice?
To treat head lice you need to be very thorough. You need to use the chemicals that are available in the chemists. One of the problems I believe in the spreading of head lice is some of the natural treatments that are deemed to work but don't. One of the problems with spreading of head lice is of course, with some of the parents, nobody wants to know and they ignore it, which helps it to spread. You treat head lice with the recommended chemical at the moment, which is a lotion called Headrin. The terribly important thing to do is to treat the hair again a week later, and the reason for that is, however thoroughly you apply the lotion to the child's head, you are likely to only achieve a maximum 95% success in killing the eggs, the nits. You will probably kill all the lice, but not necessarily the eggs. For that reason, as they hatch 7 days later, the idea is to use it yet again 7 days later exactly, to kill off those you may have missed last time.
