How can I treat rosacea?

If you still continue to have a problem with your rosacea, then go and see your doctor who may be able to treat you. If he's not happy treating you, he may refer you to the dermatologist. What they will do is to go on to certain prescription creams, usually those that contain variations of metronidazole in a cream or gel, and various forms of mild anti-acne treatments. We have some skin calming anti-redness creams in my own products that can calm the skin, that contains a variety of ingredients including chamomile and niacinamide. If those fail, we can put the patients on low-dose antibiotics, often for long-term periods. If there is still a problem with redness, I can then treat the patients with an appropriate laser or intense pulse light.
