How can I use my browser to increase my privacy?
Your web browser is your primary tool for experiencing the world wide web. The web browser is a piece of software. Built into that software are a variety of features and functions, and a few of them have to do with your online privacy. One of those features would be certificates, which give you the ability to accept automatically, accept on a case by case basis or reject automatically any site trying to deposit any kind of security certificate information into your browser. Another feature is cookies, a cookie is a little piece of information that a website deposits into your browser. Sometimes it's to help track that you've been there, so that you don't have to repeat visiting another page of the website and sometimes it is a piece of code that helps identify you specifically so you can be targeted with something. Again, your web browser allows you to accept cookies in general, reject them in general, or accept them on a case by case basis.
