What is the stupidest answer you have ever seen on an exam paper?

There are lots of stupid comments and answers on exam papers. I should say that if there are any rude comments or swear words, they'll be disqualified from the exam. The one answer that I do recall was a young person, when asked a question, answered, "God knows." The examiner wrote: "Full marks for God but no marks for you." I think that was probably done a long time ago. I don't know what the attitude would be for an exam now, how the examiner would look on that. Putting comments like that: sometimes they're funny and sometimes you can have a laugh at them, but if they're at all offensive then you'll be disqualified.

What is the worst answer you've ever seen on an exam paper?

The worst answers on exam papers are the ones that are disqualified. Some people are there in the examining room, they haven't a clue and they just write what ever comes to mind. These worst answers are very much the exception, and they probably say more about the student than anything else.
