What is a 'VIP list'?

A VIP list just differs from promoter or person to person, whoever is putting together that list. Their VIPs could be the head of their company, it could be their biggest spenders in their venue, it could be the celebrities and models. It just depends on whose list we're talking about. VIP to them might not be VIP to you and me.

What are the perks of the VIP list?

Usually if you're on the VIP list, you will get in faster than the other people and you probably will have your drinks complimentary as well.

What is a 'VIP lounge'?

A VIP Lounge is a place where usually celebrities go and hang out in a private area where you can have nice, private, intimate conversations. Usually they have their own private bar where you get free drinks, maybe even free food. You might have different music in that VIP room. You might even have your own private entrance and exit, and/or bathroom.

What happens in the VIP lounge of a club or event?

We are right now in a VIP area. To get back here you need to know someone. You need to be special. You need to be a celebrity. Basically, it is a cool area that is usually private and you can have a real conversation and get to know one another a little bit better and you are probably more sheltered from the press and that type of thing. So it is a really good area to have a great conversation and you are not so much in the spotlight. Usually in VIP areas such as this, you have your own special bar, you usually do not have to pay for anything. You have hors d'oeuvres. You have these special company couches you see here. We have cigars. We have got it all. So what can I say? It is great to be VIP.

Aside from being a celebrity, how can I become a hot spot VIP?

In order for someone to become a VIP, you pretty much just need to know the venue owner or promoter to get on that VIP list. Or come with a celebrity!
