How did Clara 'Auntie Em' Blandick take her own life?
Auntie Em is one of the most beloved figures on probably the most popular movie of all time: The Wizard of Oz. But actually, when the film was made, her name appears on the credits below the last of the flying monkeys, so she wasn't given much credit for her role. Towards the end of her life her fame did nothing to give her any kinds of future jobs, and she was determined to kill herself - and not only took a number of sleeping pills, but in order to speed up the process, she tied a plastic garbage bag over her head to make sure it would definitely work.
How did Ray Combs take his own life?
Ray Combs was the host of the popular TV show 'Family Feud". For six years he was in that role. By 1996 though, the 40 year old Combs was depressed and in debt, and had a number of marital feuds of his own. He was put into a hospital to be watched on a suicide watch but nevertheless he managed to find enough bed sheets and hung himself at the age of 40.
How did Kevin Gilbert commit suicide?
Kevin Gilbert was a well known song writer who would be attributed for writing the Sheryl Crowe hit "All I want to do is have some fun". Unfortunately, his death is associated with being found at the hands of an alter-erotica asphyxiation gone bad.

She was a news anchor for a very popular news show in Florida. She was on the morning show there.
