Can I get a student loan to do a postgraduate course?
Not usually. The only exception is a postgraduate certificate of education course - PGCE - for teacher training students. Can I get a loan for a master's course?
You can't usually get a student loan for a master's course. The only post-graduate courses which attract student loans are post-graduate certificates and educations (PGCE's). You may be able to get a clear development loan for a master's course. The best thing to do is have a look at the website to see the terms and conditions for those and if you'd be eligible. Otherwise, part-time postgraduate courses don't attract student loans, and usually can't get career development loans either, as they're for full-time courses.
